Followly is built for people who rely on Gmail. That means being clear about what access is used and why.
1. Gmail permissions
Followly requests specific Gmail permissions to operate. Here is what each permission is used for:
- Inbox and conversation access — to identify your conversations, detect when a reply has arrived, and show the status of your Followly actions inside Gmail.
- Compose and sending features — used only when you choose Send + Track or Schedule + Track from the Gmail compose window.
- Inbox management — to return conversations to your inbox when requested, as part of Followly's Return features. Followly only makes changes to conversations when you ask it to.
- Account identity — to identify your account so Followly can associate your actions with you.
2. What Followly does not do
- Followly does not sell Gmail data or inbox content.
- Followly does not use Gmail content to train AI models.
- Followly does not use inbox content for advertising.
- Followly does not read or store the full content of your emails.
- Followly does not ask for your Gmail password. Access is authorized through Google's standard sign-in process.
- Followly only makes changes to your Gmail when you explicitly ask it to.
3. Data storage
Followly stores your Followly actions and settings using Google infrastructure (Firebase). Data is associated with your account and is not shared with other users or third parties.
4. Revoking access
You can revoke Followly's Gmail access at any time from your Google Account:

Revoking access stops Followly from operating. Contact us to also request deletion of stored data.
